First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding occupation-based bilateral arm training (practicing meaningful daily tasks with both arms) to standard therapy helps stroke survivors improve arm movement and participation in daily life. About 150 adults who had a first stroke within the last 6 months will take part. The goal is to see if this extra training boosts motivation and recovery more than standard therapy alone.
