Researchers pinpoint the right number of tries for stroke recovery test

NCT ID NCT06395597

Summary

This study aimed to determine how many attempts are needed for a standard hand function test (the Nine Hole Peg Test) to get reliable results when assessing stroke recovery. Researchers compared 40 people, including both healthy individuals and stroke survivors aged 20-64, to see how their test results varied. The goal was to establish a clearer testing standard to help therapists better track a patient's progress after a stroke.
