Simple arm squeeze could shield brain after devastating stroke

NCT ID NCT06032533

Summary

This study is testing if a simple, non-invasive therapy can help the brain recover after a severe, life-threatening stroke. The therapy involves repeatedly inflating a blood pressure cuff on the arm for a few minutes at a time. Researchers want to see if this 'limb conditioning' can protect the brain from further damage and help people regain their independence.
