Zapping the spine to help stroke survivors walk?

NCT ID NCT06541015

Summary

This study aims to understand if a gentle, non-invasive electrical stimulation applied to the spine can improve leg reflexes, walking ability, and movement control in people who have had a stroke. It involves 100 participants, including stroke survivors and healthy volunteers, who will attend multiple testing sessions over four months. The goal is to gather data to see if this approach could be a helpful tool for future stroke recovery research.
