Gentle ear zaps tested to boost stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT07254390

Summary

This study is testing if a gentle, non-invasive stimulation of the vagus nerve in the ear can help people recover arm movement after a recent stroke. Participants will do standard rehabilitation exercises, some using a special device, while also receiving either the real ear stimulation or a sham (fake) version. The main goal is to see if this combination helps improve arm and hand function better than rehab alone.
