First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether a drug called Cytoflavin, given as an IV and then as tablets, can improve recovery in 240 adults who had a stroke within the past 3 months. The drug is thought to protect brain cells and help the brain learn new skills during physical therapy. Participants received either the drug or a placebo alongside standard rehabilitation, and researchers measured changes in daily living abilities.
