Brain zap & Walk-Talk training tested for stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT06769672

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of gentle brain stimulation (tDCS) and practice doing two things at once—like walking while remembering a list—can help people recover after a stroke. Researchers want to see if this training reduces the common struggle of doing mental and physical tasks together and improves how the brain works during these activities. They are recruiting 72 stroke survivors in Hong Kong who are at least 6 months post-stroke and can walk short distances.
