Zapping the brain to reclaim movement after stroke

NCT ID NCT07151729

Summary

This study is testing whether a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help people regain arm movement after a recent stroke. Fifty participants with severe arm weakness within 8 weeks of their stroke will receive either real or sham stimulation during rehabilitation. The goal is to see if this stimulation makes standard physical therapy more effective at improving arm function and independence.
