Scientists test 'Brain Training' technique after stroke clot removal
NCT ID NCT06526429
Summary
This study tested a new method to protect the brain after successful removal of a stroke-causing blood clot. Researchers temporarily interrupted and restored blood flow to the brain using a special balloon catheter immediately after the clot was removed. The goal was to find the safest and most effective timing pattern for these brief interruptions to help the brain recover better.
