Could a steroid shot after stroke clot removal save more brain?

Summary

This study tests whether giving the steroid methylprednisolone right after a stroke clot removal helps patients recover better. About 1060 adults who had a major stroke will receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if it reduces disability, bleeding, and death.
