Two-Step walking program aims to help stroke survivors lose weight, lower blood pressure, and walk better
NCT ID NCT07420595
Summary
This study tested a two-part walking training program for people who had a stroke at least six months earlier. Researchers wanted to see if combining machine-assisted walking practice with standard walking therapy was better for managing weight, blood pressure, and walking ability than using just one type of training. The trial involved 140 participants who were overweight and had high blood pressure.
