Summary
This small study tested whether a simple, two-week exercise program could strengthen muscles important for swallowing and posture in people recovering from a recent stroke. Twelve patients performed tongue, jaw, and back exercises twice daily for 14 days. The results showed significant increases in tongue and back muscle strength after the program.
