Breathing tube timing could be key to stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT05847309

Summary

This study aimed to find the best time to remove breathing tubes after a major stroke procedure. Researchers compared taking the tube out early (within 6 hours) versus later (6-12 hours) in 174 patients. The goal was to see which timing led to better recovery, fewer complications, and a shorter hospital stay three months after the stroke.
