New hope for stroke patients who Don't respond to initial treatment
NCT ID NCT07290751
Summary
This trial is testing if adding a second drug called tirofiban helps people recover better after a stroke. It is for patients who receive the standard clot-busting medicine but don't show enough improvement within the first hour. About 976 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either tirofiban or a placebo (dummy infusion) for 24 hours, and researchers will check their recovery after 90 days.
