NCT ID NCT06656442
Summary
This completed Phase 3 trial tested whether trimetazidine, a medication typically used for chest pain, could help people recover from an ischemic stroke (caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain). The study involved 60 adults who had recently suffered a stroke, and it aimed to see if the drug could reduce harmful brain inflammation and improve patients' physical and functional recovery scores.
