Summary

This study looked at whether watching movements (action observation therapy) or using a mirror to create the illusion of movement (mirror therapy) can help improve arm and hand function in people who had a stroke 1 to 6 months earlier. 44 adults aged 40 to 70 took part. The goal was to see which therapy works better for long-term recovery of fine motor skills.
