Heart plug trial aims to stop deadly repeat strokes

Summary
This study is for people with atrial fibrillation (AFib) who have had a stroke despite taking blood thinners. It tests if adding a heart procedure to close a small pouch in the heart (called the left atrial appendage) is better than just continuing blood thinners alone. The goal is to see if this combined approach can better prevent another stroke, blood clot, or heart-related death.
