Race to stop the next stroke: major trial tests new drug duos
NCT ID NCT06591377
Summary
This study aims to find the best medicine to prevent a second stroke in people who just had a minor stroke or a TIA (a 'warning stroke'). Researchers are comparing two different drug combinations, each taken with aspirin, over 90 days. They will check which one is more effective at preventing another stroke and which has fewer side effects like serious bleeding.
