Scientists probe spinal nerves during surgery to unlock Stroke's secrets

NCT ID NCT07401186

Summary

This study aims to understand how stroke changes the way nerves in the spine communicate. Researchers will measure nerve and muscle signals in 15 people who are already having neck spine surgery, comparing those who have had a stroke to those who haven't. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about these changes, not to provide a treatment.
