Special glasses and brain zaps tested to help stroke patients see their world again
NCT ID NCT05842551
Summary
This study is testing whether special prism glasses, combined with a gentle form of brain stimulation, can help stroke patients who have 'neglect'—a condition where they have trouble noticing things on one side of their body or environment. It will compare the glasses plus real brain stimulation to the glasses plus a fake stimulation. The goal is to see if this combination is a practical way to reduce neglect and improve daily function.
