Mirror and force training tested to rebuild Stroke-Damaged hands

NCT ID NCT07150325

Summary

This small, completed study explored a new hand rehabilitation method for people who have had a stroke. It combined a special hand-grip training device with mirror therapy, where patients watch their unaffected hand move in a mirror to help retrain their brain and affected hand. Researchers measured changes in hand strength, coordination, and brain activity to see if this combined approach could help improve hand function.
