Summary

This study tested a special walking program for people who had a stroke at least six months ago. The program combined robot-assisted walking practice with regular walking training to help improve how they walk, manage their weight, and control blood pressure. A total of 140 participants took part in this multi-center trial. The goal was to find the best way to sequence these two types of training for the greatest benefit.
