Botox and robot legs team up to help stroke patients walk again
NCT ID NCT06070987
Summary
This study tested a combination treatment to help stroke survivors walk better. It combined Botox injections to relax a stiff leg muscle with training using a robotic exoskeleton suit. The goal was to see if this two-part approach could improve walking speed, balance, and overall mobility for people struggling with a stiff-legged gait after a stroke.
