Scientists probe nerve reflexes behind stroke walking difficulties
NCT ID NCT04947865
Summary
This study aims to understand how nerve reflexes affect walking problems in stroke survivors with stiff-knee gait. Researchers will measure leg muscle responses to gentle electrical stimulation in 60 participants, both with and without stroke. The goal is to learn if specific reflex patterns correlate with walking difficulties, which could inform future treatments.
