First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a drug called tenecteplase (TNK) given directly to the brain through a tiny tube to treat strokes caused by medium-sized blood vessel blockages. About 382 adults who have had a stroke within the last 24 hours will receive either standard care or this targeted drug treatment. The goal is to see if this approach improves recovery and reduces disability better than current treatments.
