Breakthrough stroke drug aims to prevent clots without causing bleeding
NCT ID NCT06813651
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new drug called TBO-309 to standard stroke treatment helps patients with a specific type of severe artery blockage. The drug aims to prevent blood clots from forming in newly placed artery stents while minimizing the risk of dangerous bleeding in the brain. Researchers will enroll 78 stroke patients who are undergoing emergency procedures to remove blockages and place stents.
