First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug tirofiban to a standard clot-removal procedure helps people recover better after a severe stroke caused by hardened arteries. About 716 adults who have had a stroke within the past 24 hours will receive either tirofiban or a placebo after the procedure. The main goal is to see if more people can live independently 90 days later, while also checking for bleeding risks.
