First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a drug called tirofiban after standard clot-busting treatment helps people who had a stroke and aren't improving enough. About 976 adults will receive either tirofiban or a placebo for 24 hours, then standard care. The goal is to see if more people can regain independence at 90 days without increasing bleeding risks.
