First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a statin (atorvastatin or rosuvastatin) to the blood thinner clopidogrel within 24 hours of a first major stroke can lower the chance of having another stroke. About 600 adults aged 18–75 who had a large-vessel ischemic stroke will be followed for 90 days. The goal is to see which drug combo works better and is safe.
