First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study compares a procedure to remove a blood clot from a medium-sized brain artery with standard medical care for people who have had a moderate stroke. About 584 participants will be randomly assigned to either treatment within 12 hours of their stroke. The goal is to see if the procedure leads to better recovery and less disability after 90 days.
