NCT ID NCT05983757
First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether a procedure to remove a blood clot from a medium-sized brain artery helps people recover better than standard medicines alone. About 584 adults who have had a moderate stroke within the past 12 hours will be randomly assigned to either get the clot removal procedure or standard care. The goal is to see if the procedure leads to less disability three months later.
