New brain clot remover could help stroke victims

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device called the CONDA stent retriever that removes blood clots from brain arteries during a stroke. Researchers want to see if this device can safely and effectively restore blood flow to the brain in people experiencing acute ischemic stroke caused by large artery blockages. The study will enroll 50 participants who can receive treatment within 24 hours of stroke symptoms starting.
