New brain clot remover tested in race against stroke damage

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device called Ceretrieve that is designed to quickly remove blood clots from the brain during a stroke. The goal is to see if the device is safe and works as well as other approved clot removal tools. Researchers will enroll 132 adults who are having a stroke and can be treated within 24 hours of their symptoms starting.
