Summary
This study tested a medical device designed to physically remove blood clots from the brain during an acute ischemic stroke. It involved 8 adult patients who had a severe stroke and could be treated within 8 hours of symptoms starting. The main goal was to check if the device was safe and could successfully restore blood flow in the blocked brain artery.
