Giant suction tube vs. stent snare: which saves more brain?

NCT ID NCT07555977

First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether using a very large suction catheter to remove a blood clot from a major brain artery works better than the standard stent-based method for people having a severe stroke. About 708 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques. The main goal is to see which approach leads to less disability three months after the procedure.
