First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares two ways to remove large blood clots from the brain in people having a severe stroke. One method uses a super large suction tube, and the other uses a stent-like device to grab the clot. The goal is to see which approach leads to better recovery and less disability three months after the procedure. About 708 adults with a specific type of stroke will take part across 30 hospitals in China.
