Summary
This study tested which of two medical devices works better to remove blood clots causing major strokes. Researchers compared a suction-based technique (ADAPT) against the standard stent retriever method in 381 stroke patients. The goal was to see which approach more effectively restores blood flow to the brain when performed within 6 hours of stroke symptoms.
