Direct brain artery treatment aims to stop stroke disability
NCT ID NCT07302854
Summary
This trial is testing a new approach for a common type of stroke caused by blockages in medium-sized brain arteries. It will see if delivering a powerful clot-busting drug directly into the blocked artery, within 24 hours of stroke symptoms, helps people recover better than standard medication alone. The goal is to help more patients regain independence and good quality of life 90 days after their stroke.
