New stroke treatment aims to bust clots in Hard-to-Reach vessels
NCT ID NCT07302854
Summary
This study is testing a new way to treat a specific type of stroke caused by a blockage in a medium-sized brain artery. Researchers want to see if delivering a powerful clot-busting drug directly to the blockage improves recovery and quality of life for patients. The trial will compare this targeted approach to standard medical care alone in about 382 adults who have had this type of stroke within the last 24 hours.
