Researchers hunt for clues to prevent dangerous bleeding after stroke treatment

NCT ID NCT06337175

Summary

This study looked at 600 stroke patients in the Middle East who received the clot-busting drug alteplase. Researchers wanted to understand what patient characteristics and treatment timing might predict different types of bleeding in the brain after treatment. The goal is to help doctors better identify which patients might be at higher risk for this serious complication.
