Arm squeeze technique could stop stroke damage
NCT ID NCT07237542
Summary
This study tests whether repeatedly squeezing the arms with a blood pressure cuff can prevent stroke symptoms from getting worse. Researchers will enroll 910 people who recently had a small, deep brain stroke. Half will receive real arm pressure training, while half get a fake treatment, to see which group has fewer patients whose stroke symptoms worsen in the first week.
