Personalized daily tasks could boost stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT07164612

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a special type of arm training to standard stroke rehabilitation helps people recover better. The special training uses personalized, meaningful daily activities like dressing or eating to motivate patients. Researchers will compare two groups of 150 stroke survivors: one gets this personalized training plus standard therapy, and the other gets only standard therapy. The goal is to see if the extra training improves arm movement and helps people participate more in daily life.
