Summary
This study compares two rehabilitation methods—somatosensory stimulation (using touch) and task-based mirror therapy (using a mirror to trick the brain)—to see which better improves arm and hand function in stroke survivors. About 24 adults who had a stroke 1 to 6 months ago will participate in 4 weeks of therapy. The goal is to find a more effective way to help people regain movement and independence.
