First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether a public health campaign can help people having a stroke get to the hospital within the critical 4.5-hour window. Researchers will compare two groups of communities in China—one receiving the campaign and one not—to see if the campaign speeds up hospital arrival and improves outcomes. Over 1.6 million people will be involved, making it one of the largest stroke awareness trials ever.
