NCT ID NCT06436560

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether virtual group support from peers who have had vaginoplasty can help transgender and non-binary people feel more prepared and less stressed before surgery. About 290 adults will be randomly assigned to either the peer support group or standard care with extra educational materials. The goal is to improve coping skills and access to surgery, and to see if this approach is acceptable to patients and staff.
