First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether virtual group support from peers who have had vaginoplasty can help transgender and non-binary people feel more prepared and less stressed before surgery. Researchers will compare this support to standard care with extra educational materials. The goal is to improve well-being and access to care for 290 adults seeking this surgery.
