This study tests a virtual program called STRIDE for adults aged 21-44 who were recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and are raising a child aged 2-14. The program teaches practical skills like prioritizing self-care, healthy eating, and family physical activity. Researchers will measure changes in diabetes-related distress, confidence in self-care, and blood sugar levels over 6 months.
