First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study compared two types of stretching exercises—intercostal and thoracic cage—in 56 adults with asthma. The goal was to see if these stretches could improve chest expansion, reduce shortness of breath, and increase oxygen levels. Participants were clinically stable and did little physical activity. The findings may help guide simple, drug-free ways to manage asthma symptoms and improve daily life.
