Scientists test why people choose to drink more under pressure

NCT ID NCT07390084

Summary

This study aims to understand how stress and being in social situations influence a person's decision to drink alcohol. Researchers will observe 160 regular drinkers as they make choices between alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in different controlled settings. The goal is to gather knowledge about decision-making patterns, not to provide treatment.
