First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares two drug combinations—dexmedetomidine versus fentanyl plus midazolam—to see which better controls stress (like heart rate spikes) during laparoscopic gallbladder removal. About 50 adults undergoing this surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage stress during surgery and improve recovery.
