First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested two ways to help people with stress-related health issues in primary care: a team-based collaborative care approach and a guided self-help version of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). 172 adults with mild to moderate stress symptoms took part. The goal was to see if collaborative care works as well as the current gold standard, CBT, to reduce stress and burnout.
